A hush over the meadows // Playlist + Video

 I feel this hush inside of me and over the meadows

while I walk trough the high grass no one

might have touched this summer.

These places feel so lonely and alive at the same time

with their wild growing appearance

that touches my skin while I remember 

the times I have been here before.

My skin feels warm, my mind

is with the changing season, the changing life.

Belgium Film Diary - Part One (in the train & arriving in Leuven)

Hello you! :)

I know some of you have waited for the pictures

from our Belgium trip and were curious on how my view

on this country will be. But for this trip I decided

to mostly shoot on film and film some precious moments for a 

travel diary with my digital camera so I had to

wait for the pictures to get developed. 

But here they come. 

After many hours of changing trains

we sat in our final train that had these beautiful

yellow curtains and magical light.

Look at this beautiful rhododendron! It was blooming every where when we arrived

and I was so surprised, because in Germany I haven't seen even one blooming one

by the time we left.

We spend our first afternoon & evening in Leuven where we stayed

at our friends Ewa and Simon's home. I saw so

many beautiful light situations in this house. Like this one

where golden light united with the dark furniture. 

After a delicious pasta with vegetable sauce Simon made 

and a long chat about what happened in each others life's 

Ewa told me about the lovely botanical garden we have

to go to. Since it was closing soon I jumped on the porter of

Florians bike and we soon arrived in a green paradise.

I saw this men enjoying a book right next to the green house

in the shade of a bush

and thought what a perfect spot to dive into a story.

Sleeping for too long or not at all

Hello dear people,

The days are passing fast and at the same time

it feels like they don't end.

I wanted to share some analog frames with you that

were sleeping on a roll of film in a camera I didn't used

for a while. As well as the little video I put together

about celebrating my birthday on two days & the sounds of my April.

 So here we go.

I was wondering if you want to know (or see) more

about personal things here too, or what you

are interested to see here in general.

I love to share my work here, but sometimes I'm wondering

if this place should stay how it is or

if it needs a fresh wind maybe?

I would love to read from you here.

Morning fog

It feels hard to open my eyes. Most people are still asleep. Nothing

can wake them up. 

The houses disappear, the trees don't have heads anymore, 

the ends of the streets find no end. 

That's what wakes me up.

The last yellow leaves - November Playlist / Video

November is over and Christmas is near. I remember driving trough a world

that was almost dark and suddenly I saw this yellow shining maple tree that

had created a carpet of fallen bright yellow leaves under itself. 

On the next day I was there in the daylight, smelling the last autumn scents, knowing

that I have to say goodbye to my beloved autumn very soon.

August

has been a crazy month. I travelled so much. 

I saw and experienced so many new things.

I met people, I tried out new food and 

I was overthinking everything more than ever.

I listened to a lot of music on my little trips and

this playlist gives you a little impression of

what I was listening too.

Now autumn is almost here and it feels like

I haven't seen this season in such a long time.

I missed you.

Our trip to the Netherlands - Diary Part Three - De Cocksdorp (analog)

On the third day we finally

explored our little town De Cocksdorp as well as Den Burg.

The famous lighthouse is only 15 minutes away from our

little B&B, but we decide to rent two bikes to

explore the whole island. :) 

The red color of the lighthouse and the roofs of the tiny houses beside

it look so lovely in the simple landscape that is more monotone in it's tones.

We are early birds, so not many people are here yet. As we walk up the little

hill where the lighthouse is standing we can see how wide and

beautiful the beach is. 

Some people are here with their dogs or children, read a book

alone on a little blanket in the sand or let their kites fly in

the blue sky.
