Let's go on a walk with me

 

On a sunny February day I decided to pick up my Zenit again that was sleeping on my shelf for

too long. 

     

   Look what I found! The first snowdrops. Somehow I can identify myself with them sometimes.

They often look sad even if they are the first signs of our beloved spring.

Sometimes I find little houses or places that are not far away from

the paths I usually go to. This beautiful house made me wish to own it.

To sit there on the wooden bench with a cup of tea, enjoying the view over the meadow.

How bushes shape little tunnels sometimes.

When I saw the first hidden winter aconites growing under

a blanket of twigs.

Do you see the sea horse swimming in dry grass?

This little one was the loveliest.

Some time later the sun was about to go down. I saw it's golden shine trough the branches and

paths. Enlightening my way home. 

Part of You

Let's go back to this January walk that felt like spring is around the corner 

while I'm looking at roofs and trees full of snow and 

drink one herbal tea after another.

Moments of light and darkness

Golden and Dry

The snow is melting,

light shines through the grass that is dressed in autumn colors,

I see shadows and reflections everywhere.

Am I ready yet?

The snow is melting - I melt with it

Wrapped in many layers I breathe in the icy air.

The sun is tender, but golden.

A calming breakfast in the living room. Eating in another

room makes this moment special.

Shining in golden light makes me feel alive

Cold evenings at home filled

with tea and candle light.

The Absence Of Light

In the beginning of January the sun was rare. 

I don't remember if I have ever missed the

sun that much or if it has ever been that absent before.

It seems like days go by faster, like it's afternoon all the time.

Life just goes by.

And then this day came where the sun went up behind the mountains.

I could see and feel it coming and it was all mine.

Back to Berlin some time ago when I was taking pictures with Anna. 

This time I also want to share a few analog frames with you that perfectly show

the special colors of our surroundings. I also want to include the photos with her little

dog pino she just adopted because they were just the cutest little couple together. 

She asked me if I could be the one that

captures their first month together and so I did that while we walked

around in the streets of Berlin.
